We miss you every day, Peggy!!
Peggy, you made me feel like the most important person in the room whenever I was with you. You cherished our children and made them so happy to be with GiGi. You loved Anne so much. Sassy's right - miss you every day.
Happy 100th Birthday Peggy. Thank you for all the laughs, wisdom, joy and happiness that you have given and continue to give our family each day. Hope you have a delicious jar of fiddle head ferns to savor today! Love always, Wendy
Peggy, I wish you were still alive in the flesh so I could talk to you as the woman I am today. I have such a greater appreciation for the things that were so important to you: faith, family, fruits and vegetables, fresh air, laughter and most of all being real. I can feel your spirit living inside of me, though, and I am so grateful for that. Happy Birthday!
I miss the smell of your hundreds of vitamins, the squeak of your patent leather slippers, and watching you do yoga in Meegan and Catherine's bedroom at our house.
so yesterday Anne and I go to Maine to start to break open the beach house. Lots of this and that work and after a couple of hours, Anne realizes the diamond in her engagement ring is gone. We search for hours, then go home hoping she lost it before we left. Nothing after lots and lots of searching. Lots of crying. This morning after my short work-out I put my sneakers back in my little corner of the bathroom and right there on the tile floor plain as day is the lost diamond. What a morning! We had both scoured the bathroom 100 times. At 3 :30 this afternoon, still in disbelief Anne returns to the spot...and a ladybug is sitting in the same spot. Peggy. Can't make it up.

Dave and I are in the Poconos at Promised Land State Park. We went to Buck Hill today. KerMac is still standing and looks lovingly cared for and enjoyed. We walked around the tennis courts and hung out in the pool area for a while ... walked down to the Falls ... met Betty (? Stroud who remembers Mother well ... she and her husband Joe had a house on Pinehurst and know Parker and Burt.
We are here until next Friday .. suggestions welcome.

For Mother's 80th somebody did some tees with the design of her octagonal rug ... who did those? Do you still have the artwork?
We had a WONDERFUL time up in the Poconos ... dipped in the pool at the end of Margaret's Falls, the sliding falls where we had so many lunches and great times together ... .
The Poconos are true to just about all they brag about ... a very special place to get together.
Tons of love to all, josie
